Yes, I've used them and they're wonderful! The only bad thing is if they get a leak! They really save a lot of space.
Has anyone ever used the vacuum sealed bags (for clothes, toys, etc.)? Do they really save on space? I've seen them at Walmart and Target and it seems like a great space saving concept. It is rather expensive so I was wondering how it worked for you all.
Thank you for all the responses. I went to Walmart and bought two different kinds. One being more expensive. Of the cheaper bags, one has a leak already, but the other bag is great. The more expensive one is working well so far. It is amazing how much space that it has saved! Plastic containers are great stackers, but eventually eat up space. I got rid of 3 big containers!! Thanks again. UPDATE... okay, so the brands at Walmart don't work-they leaked after a couple of hours. I will try another store brand. It's a great concept if I can find one that doesn't leak!

My mom has several she has gotten at Wal-mart. She LOVES them, and YES they save a TON of space. After seeing her closets before and after, I definately need to invest in some. she has done them one or two at a time. I think that is the way to go. Anyway, hope that helped.
We used them and loved them but they left me wondering if I could the the same thing with the giant ziplock bags and it be much cheeper. The tend to slowly leak. So If you can pack them tightly into something that tends to kepp them flat longer. That being said I still would buy them again.
I have used a few of them in the recent months and have found they do save some space. I also went to Ikea and bought some big duffle type bags to put them in so they all stay together so that makes it more convenient.
Yes we have used them (the ones we bought were at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, so I don't know if that's the same brand as at Target/Walmart), and they worked GREAT! The type that I bought required you to use a vacuum cleaner to suck the air out and it worked really well. However, my mom got a brand that did not need a vacuum cleaner. It simply had a one-way valve, so after you packed your clothes in, you just smooshed it or sat on it to push the air out and the one-way valve kept the air from coming back in. She said hers worked well also. I'm so so sorry I don't remember the specific brands, but that type of product really has worked well for me!
My Mom and I have used them. I don't remember what brand we got, but we shopped around. My Mom tried some that were a little less expensive and the seals broke after about 3 months. I paid a little more for mine...around $60 for the box and they are GREAT. They do save a lot of room too.

I have used them to store comforter sets and pillows. They really do save space.... I haven't used them after they've been sealed though so I can't tell you how fast they come back to life. :o)

I bought a package of 11 and thought they would be really great. about half of them worked like they were supposed to and I love them, however, the other half had a slow leak somewhere and after I put them away they grew back to the original size.
Oh my gosh - those things rock! I put up all our off-season clothing in them, and instead of taking up almost a full closet, they take up 1 shelf in my laundry room. Just be sure not to overstuff them or the seal will pop open. I like to put a dryer sheet in with them so they're fresh and ready to wear right out of the bag.
Waste of money. I tried the space bags that they advertise on TV, and they stay vacuum sealed all of 5 minutes, if your lucky!
