Twin Bed - Mesa,AZ

Hi. When we transitioned our twin 3 year old girls to their "big girl" beds, we purchased two twin beds at BedMart (Val Vista & Gilbert). Got great deals on the box springs, mattresses and metal frames there, then I ordered some pink padded headboards from WalMart and they have really cute beds! The inexpensive mattresses aren't the most cushy, so I added some egg crate pads over the top. Honestly, I think their beds are the most comfortable in the house.

We bought a Serta twin mattress at Sam's Club for $99 this year. It's perfect for children, not too soft or thick. You might consider investing in a waterproof mattress cover too. We liked Protect-o-bed brand. R., midwife mom of 3

I would make sure you can flip it. When we bought our son's I was shocked at how many places wanted us to buy one that didn't flip. We figured it would only last 1/2 as long then.

Pretty much any mattress will work. There's a waterproof zip cover that Target sells for about $8 that you can zip around a regular mattress if you're worried about any nighttime wetting.

We got a nice twin set at Original Mattress Factory. Do you have those there? Don't get O. with O. plain side. It's good to be able to flip.
