Hello ladies!

So, now that I have started with the raw milk, my daughter has yet to warm up to the different taste of it! A little history: She refused the breast instantly after birth and so I had to pump for 7(!) entire months before my supply dwindled and I was forced to supplement her milk intake with formula. Now that she's over 1, I wanted to give her just milk but it seems that I have to ease her into it. Is there any good toddler formula you would recommend? I need to be able to offer her an alternative 50/50 formula/milk until she gets used to the milk taste. Also, I'd rather giver her organic formula.
Of course any other suggestions you may have, is really appreciated!!

Thank you!
M.

So What Happened?

Thank you all once again for your thoughtful advise! As many of you have suggested, I have bought another can of the same formula my daughter has been used to since she was 7 months...this time, I'll have to be adment about giving her the milk/formula mixture everyday and slowly increasing the milk/formula ratio.
Kindly

My son's peditrician said the same thing about toddler formula. So we mixed formula and whole milk for a while, and when it came to 100% milk, my little guy didn't even notice!

Hi M.,
When I started milk I mixed her formula 50/50 with milk for a few days, then went to 30/70 for a few days until Paige didn't notice and finally gave her straight milk. She didn't even notice. My pediatrician told me not to bother with toddler formula, it was his idea to mix her regular formula with milk as she was already used to the taste and the toddler formula may taste different. Good luck!

We did a real gradual transition with my son, 1/4 milk, 3/4 formula for a week, then 50/50 for a week, then 1/4 formula, 3/4 milk, then all milk. He didn't protest. With my daughter, she never had formula, and wouldn't drink milk. When I tried giving her milk, she flat out refused. The doctor said it wasn't important for her to drink milk as long as she ate other dairy products, and to keep offering it to her and she will eventually drink it. She held out for about 3 months, then finally started drinking it and now loves it. So, if she is getting other dairy, don't stress about the milk.
