So What Happened?

I am against the death penalty, but in my heart I feel that justice has not been served for little Caylie. (RIP)

WIll they investigate further, who did it? is this it?

Sadly this is our system working. They couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she murdered her daughter. The State that is. The law says innocent til proven guilty. Many of us, I'd bet most of us are horrified, but that is our law. It is why we are considered a free country. We are wondering so many of us why she is getting away with this. But it is also a testimony to our legal system if we ourselves were in a situation where we were accused and convicted for something we didn't do. We all feel she did it. And if she did she will have to give an account one day.

This is why I like the jury system instead of the lynch mob system. None of us were on that jury. None of us had all the evidence presented to us. Guilty or not, I'll never know. Because I wasn't on the jury, and I'm not the presiding judge.

I am not judge and jury, but I dont like the idea that she is now going to be free to get pregnant again. I'm shocked to say the least...This one is going down in history of shocking verdicts.

I think she should be required to sleep with Caylee's Winnie the Pooh blanket and have to drive her car for the rest of her life.

Nauseating. I feel so bad for the poor little girl and don't understand how she can get off. I wonder what she'll get for lying to the police, hindering the investigation and covering up what happened to her child?

If the Grandmother hadn't eventually found 'tot mom' and called the police how long do you think it would have taken this woman who has been found 'NOT GUILTY' to fess up about the fact that her baby is no longer alive??

Regardless if you believe the 'accidental drowning' defense...when was she gonna let anyone know???????????????

It's just not right.

I knew it would be hard to find her guilty, given the lack of concrete evidence. The state always tries to find the guilty of the highest crime possible which is harder than just going for the lesser crime that could be easier to prove. My friend said she should hook up with Joran Van der sloot!

But wait, wasn't there a lack of evidence against Scott Peterson too?! Sigh...
