Toddler Haircut - Boynton Beach,FL

I've been taking my 2.5 year old son to Cow licks in West Boca for the past year.. I LOVE it there.. He sees Colleen and there awesome... They only do children and there place is so kid friendly.. Your son can pick which cool seat he wants to sit in ( plane, truck or car) and every station has a TV and he can pick the movie he wants to watch... The front of the salon has a little table with a bunch of cool puzzles to play with.. VERY KID FRIENDLY!!! I've been to a couple kid friendly places and felt like they were very robotic there ( salons in Wellington).... Good luck

Most children do get at least a little antsy with their first haircut. Most stylist/hairdressers will allow the child to sit on your lap. I don't think you need to go anywhere special. I'd either take him when you or your husband get your hair cut and ask the stylist if s/he will give your son a trim. They will most likely happily do it and allow him to sit on your or your husband's lap.

I live in BB too, but we take our children to a hole-in-the-wall place that my husband has been getting his hair cut at for the past 10 years (Forest Hill and Jog, in the Winn Dixie Plaza in Greenacres). We don't take them each time he gets his cut, but maybe once a quarter.

I prefer to take my boys to a Children's Salon. They are trained to cut children's hair even when they are moving all around. I'm in Boynton also and have yet to find a kids salon near here. So, when it's needed we make the drive out to Wellington. We either go to Snipit's which is right outside the Wellington mall, www.snipits.com or we go to Cartoon Cuts, which is inside the Wellington Mall www.cartooncuts.com. Both places have given my boys great cuts, and they do well with a crying, uncooperative little one.
