To the Writers here...I Need Help Writing an Announcement: New Floral Business

Where my son goes to college they have a department in the student union that helps them write resumes and other things to help with launching a business and gaining employment.
And this is used by alumni as well when ever they need help throughout their careers.
I think you need to explore the services your school offers you and take advantage of them.

I'm an editor and proofreader as well as a language teacher, so I have a good command of flow as well as spelling and word choice. But it would be important to know what the purpose of the letter is and who the audience is.

If you're starting your own business, are you looking to market your services in floral design to, say, business owners or large corporations to design their lobby displays and then do the upkeep? Or are you trying to work in the home decor field, marketing yourself to homeowners? Are you writing to banks for small business loans? You see where I'm going with this.

Or are you looking for advertising services to develop brochures or banner ads? In that case, you want advertising copywriters.

If you write the letter I would be glad to provide feedback and edit the letter. I need a starting point though.

I would need more information about what you are trying to do with your letter, are you trying to get a position or get capital to start a business?

You need to show your potential business for a VC (Venture Capitalist) - you'll need pictures and show how you have business connections to vendors...

If it's for a position - you need to stress what you have worked on while in school, what you want to do and pictures of designs you created while in school.

Remember to use flowery language.
