I've been wearing sports bras since the pain of fibro started. My chiro said they're not good for your back, but he understands. Victoria's Secret has a yoga bralette that I just love!
I've had fibromyalgia for several years now and am having trouble finding a bra that I can be comfortable in for more than a few hoursl. I have some pressure points right where the bra goes and am pretty miserable by afternoon. I just tried the genie bra which was very comfortable at first but alas after a few hours I couldn't wait to take it off. Can any of you give me some ideas?

I wonder if a racer back bra would help? While I do not have fibro myself, my very best friend does. We have been friends for over 15 yrs and she was diagnosed at a very young age. While no I dont know what your going through I can relate to the shoulder/neck pain or stress from a bra. Other than switching different style bras through out the day a racer back sports bra might be worth the try. 13dollards at walmart!
Sorry you're going through this. Do you have a Lady Grace store near you? Their sales associates are pretty good at fitting bras for all kinds of problems. Tell them where your pain is and take a couple of problem bras with you. It helps if you are not too modest and will let them see you in your bra and actually touch you to help fit it. They usually ask but it's great if you can tell them to go ahead and move the bras around on you as needed. It's very professional, mind you, but helpful.
Also, have you tried supplementation? I've worked with several people who have eliminated their fibromyalgia symptoms entirely and are living a whole new pain-free life.
P., I have the same problem. What works at first may not work after awhile, it's hit or miss :-/ I'm large busted so can't go without, and I haven't been able to use underwires in years. I sometimes opt for comfort over support, it's a vicious cycle :( Sorry this isn't the help you needed, I wanted you to know you're not alone.
