Supportive Nursing Bra

I agree with Rebecca that the nordstrom people will fit you and get you a pretty bra with tons of support. I think the brand I got was called "Anita", and it was such a nice bra, I still wear it. I think the one I got was about $60 - pricey, but it was worth it.

3 kids and over 11 years of nursing these have been the best ones I have ever had.
They are pretty, don't come up to my neck so I can wear nice v-necks or scoop necks and not worry about my bra showing. They hold everything up nicely.
You can find them on sale so the price isn't as bad. But they are worth the money! I've had mine more than 2 years and they are still holding up well.

I have tried a few different types, and I have found that they MUST have underwire to really support. When I was nursing, I ended up with DD/E and also F sizes. The thing is, you really have to try them on, so I would look around your area at what is available and go from there.

When I first started BFing, I was a G. Before I got pregnant, I was a large C. Now that I just finished BFing my 4th baby, I am a 36DD-DDD. I found that Lane Bryant bras saved my life. Some of them have just enough padding to stop the hard nipples from showing AND they absorb milk, so I never had to deal with nursing pads that wiggled their way out of my bra. I bought 4 of them and rotated them out each day. LOVED the way they fit me.

Seeing as how you're a "blessed" woman as I am, you should go to a specialty bra shop and get fitted there. You'd be shocked, SHOCKED, at what your real size will end up being. In the San Gabriel Valley area I frequent, I'd recommend Jenette Bras or the Wizard of Bras in Monrovia. Anyway, I recommend getting a bra with a firm band (the Anita bra is a good suggestion), rather than the soft stretchy one, because if you're like me, you'll spend all day pulling it down.

Go to Nordstrom to get an official post-baby fitting. I got a beautiful nursing bra there that is supportive and I LOVE. I think it's called the Sexy Mama bra. It's an underwire full coverage bra with a lace overlay. You'll forget you're wearing a nursing bra!
