B.W. asks from Bethel Park, PA

I am sure this question has been asked over and over again, but i'm going to ask anyway. I am having my daughter's 2nd birthday party at a park, which is just a pavilion and a little playground with open places to play. Anyway, I will have kids all the way from 22 months to 13 years. anyway i am trying to come up with some favors to give them. I really wanted to find something that they could play with at the park while we are there. Any help would be great. thanks!

What can I do next?

How about bubbles? You may even be able to try adding just a little bit of food coloring to the bubble solution so when the kids blow the bubbles, they come out different colors.

Good luck - hope the kids have a blast with whatever you decide to do!!

My son and I just did a 'safari jungle scavenger hunt' thing and the crafts were binoculars. The class was for 2-3yo, but I could see the older kids having fun with the craft. Take paper towel cardboard tubes, cut them in half, glue them together, make neck (or head) straps out of string and decorate with anything possible (stickers, crayons, markers, paint, beads, etc). I'm sure there's a 'how to' online somewhere! Good luck :)

My Target has 50% off all of the dollar items at the area when you walk in...lots of summer stuff like sand buckets.

Foam rockets are great, but a little pricey! ALL kids love those!

yes to your responses so far! Check out us toy or oriental trading company for super cheap inflatable beach balls and other balls. I think even 13 year olds would like that!

Definitely check Oriental Trading. Beach balls are the first thing I thought. I think anything blow up is a good idea. And something I got for my son's first birthday were punching balloons. Heavy duty balloons that have the rubber band on them and you punch them around when they are blown up. I think I found them at the dollar store or party store. Even the adults wanted to play with them.

Water balloons :) You fill them up before hand and store them in a cooler. If someone is artsy they can paint the little ones faces... they love that! I have to agree with oriental trading, they have a ton of inexpensive things. I know this is messy...but... a pie eating contest is always fun. Especially for the older ones. The tastykake pies come in a little tin pan now which is perfect ;) Have fun!!
