I have really loved Family Fun magazine. It is great and all my kids have loved it over the years! K.
Hi - Any suggestions for a magazine that has fun but easy craft ideas for preschoolers with winter setting in? I am thinking of a monthly subscription to a magazine that has easy and quick craft ideas and maybe some recipes, too. Thanks!
I have really loved Family Fun magazine. It is great and all my kids have loved it over the years! K.
My mother-in-law got us a subscription to "Family Fun" Its really cute and has both craft and food ideas!
Family Fun magazine is awesome. They also have a website that I have used so many times to find activities and crafts for different seasons, ages, indoor or out. I would recommend it to all moms with kids of all ages.
Parents or Parenting magazine have some of that... also Family Circle.
Family Fun magazine is great!
I just read the Nov. issue of Family Fun magaizine and it had all sorts of cute crafty things to do. Also, my son's preschool gives us monthly issues of the scholastic magazine. I believe it is called Parent and Child. It is specifically geared toward parents of preschoolers and also has tons of fun stuff to do with them includes quick crafts.
I get Family Fun and just love it!!! They also have a website and it has lots of great ideas.
Hi C.
I went on FamilyFun.com and registered on the "On the craft table" newsletter and they send me great ideas all the time via email. I believe it's free, I don't remember ever getting a bill, I've been getting this for years.
I get Wondertime, and LOVE IT! It has great articles, craft ideas, recipes, game ideas, Q & A, and many other awesome features.
I think it has already been mentioned, but Highlights High Five is what I get for my 3 yr old. She loves getting the mag. in the mail, reading it with the adults in her life, and doing both the craft and recipe that comes in each monthly magazine. She also loves the hidden pictures and the repetition that there are new stories each month with the same characters so it is familiar and she can "help" read.
Good luck, and whichever magazine you decide your little one will love!
We get Family Fun and really enjoy it. There are activities for all ages and good recipes as well as some Mom tips.
Family Fun. It is great - and cheap too.
Family Fun also has books, I just got one on clearance at Borders but you can get both the mags and their books at the library so you aren't having to shell out a lot. They also have a website (familyfun.com) that you can check out for free. I also like kaboose.com, which is the same idea and has a handy search feature as well as how difficult the projects will be.
I have the books. Huggies.com has a searchable directory of activities for toddlers. I also LOVE, LOVE the Busy Book for Toddlers/Busy Book for Preschoolers. I bought my own b.c I use them so often but I am sure the library will have those as well.

Highlights has a magazine that's for preschoolers (HighFive) as well as a website with crafts and games for kids. My boys (5&7) love them! I loved getting Highlights when I was a kid, too. The mags are specifically for kids in those age groups and have recipes that the kids can do, etc. I know my doctor's office has them in the lobby, if you want to check one out to see...try checking waiting rooms...but I HIGHLY recommend this magazine for kids. (No pun intended.) :)
I've never heard of Family Fun, but Highlights is a great magazine for kids. Lots of fun activities. Just wanted to add a vote for Highlights.
Good luck!

We enjoy Family Fun magazine. Their website has a lot of great ideas too.
Family Fun. I like it so much that I can't throw it away. I am constantly going to back issues for something. Birthday party ideas, cake ideas, fun decorative ideas for my girls to complete. Dec/Jan issue has 20 festive crafts kids can make, easy treats to bake with your kids, great gifts for $10 or less, Christmas traditions that bring families together, and party hosting ideas and shortcuts.
Check it out online. They provide a number of activities from their website. It is a great resource.
Usually you can find a subscription for $12 a year.
Familyfun.com AWESOME :)
also, Preschooleducation.com AWESOME :)
