Hi K.,
Hope you are feeling well! I had and SH when I was pregnant with my son who is now 4 yrs old. My OB did not seem concerned and from what I have read it is more common then thought, perhaps being the leading cause of bleeding during pregnancy when it is not a miscarriage (meaning that it is unrelated). Mine lasted until about 20 wks. I really did think I was having a miscarriage every time it happened and was so relieved at every sonogram! the bleeding for me would occur every few weeks and every time I had a sono to check...usually happened after going to the bathroom. There is a website called fertilityties.com..I have nothing to do with the website yet I often go on there when I have ob questions or to search for it and see all of the past Q&As..i do remember there being a question about this.
Best of luck! Again, my ob was fine with it...mine did reabsorb. If you are really concerned I would switch to a high risk ob.
