Stuffed Animal Net

Back when I was a kid I had this net thing that hung near the ceiling in the corner of my room and it held all of my stuffed animals. Do they still make those and where could I find one? My daughter has a TON of stuffed animals and they are taking up a lot of room and are pretty much just a pain in the butt (for a while they were all on the bed and they had to be cleared off every night and then put back on in the morning and now they are taking up an entire corner on the floor of her room).

What can I do next?

I was just thinking about this today! I told my daughter I wanted to get or make one for her! Thanks for posting this:)

UPDATE: I just made one for her out of a big square flowered scarf I had! Only took two nails and a small hook.(the kind you use for coffee mugs:) It is very pretty and my daughter is so excited!

We have three. They are a lifesaver!!!
I think we got ours at Target, I have seen them at all the mega retailers, Kmart, Target, Walmart.

They were recalled a few years back because children were getting strangled by them. Another option I have seen is a plastic link chain that hangs from the ceiling and has clips to hang the animals. I would still check and make sure it is safe.

HI A.,

They do still make these. I think we got our at Ikea or maybe Target? I'd try looking online.

Good luck

We actually bought the color mesh we wanted for our daughters room. Got thin strips of wood, a staple gun, nails, and a hammer and made our own.

Also are on ebay at times! We got ours there thru my son as it had both the net and the plastic chain! But have seen the nets at Toys'R'Us since then.

We got one at Toys R Us a few years ago. It is great. I don't understand about the strangulation risk, our kids would never be able to reach them.

I had those for my children when they were young and I haven't seen them in years. I did google stuffed toy net and toy hammock came up. They are reasonably priced too.
