There is a post today, about a free sofa sleeper

Hi everyone. I was able to get an apartment finally, after my ex boyfriend kicked me and my son out (previous post) It has been a difficult time for me and my little one, but thankfully, we finally have a home and have no need to stay at a motel room. We are in need of some furniture. I am on a tight budget since we are starting over so if you all have any ideas where I can get a good deal I would really appreciate it. I don't need anything fancy or extravagant, just the basics. A couch/sofa for living room, kitchen table and chairs, a bed, and dressers. Any help or advice you have I'd really appreciate.
Thanks ladies.

craigslist, garage sales, estate sales, drive around now. Lots of people put out perfectly good furniture for garbage to pick up at the end of the month. Go to nice areas and take a friend with a big car or truck.
i just wanted to tell you how proud of you i am. congrats on getting things in order for you and your boy. good luck in the future. (sorry, no help on the other stuff..i just moved here recently and am just finding my way around myself!)
Try Touch of Grace in Grapevine.
You are still welcome to my loveseat. I'm glad you are doing better.
Congratulations on starting over and I wish you the best.
Try Craigslist, Freecycle, Salvation Army stores, Goodwill Stores, Community Outreach centers.
Good luck!
Good for you for getting back on your feet again!
Did you try calling 211 (I think I mentioned this in response to your last post)? They can refer you to a nonprofit agency in your area that can help with things like that. Catholic Charities has a couple of "resale" stores where you can get furniture and other items for a good price. Plus, based on your situation and income, you could qualify for even more of a discount.
Also, there's a LARGE resale store run by St. Vincent de Paul Society near Bachman Lake. They always have tons of furniture, clothes, housewares, etc.
