Hello! I am wanting to know what the best stain remover is for clothing?? I have heard to use Totally Toddler on your childrens clothing, because it takes out everything?? I can't seem to find it at Kmart though? I use Gain detergent and fabric softner on our clothes now, with Shout stain remover but that doesn't seem to cut it!! I am hoping to find something that will take pre-exsisting stains out!!!

What can I do next?

I am a PreSpot fan. It comes from a company called Melaleuca. It uses enzymes to clean things and it works great on kids stains like food and diapers.

I love Baby OxyClean. I bought it online but also found it at BabiesRUs and at Baby Depot in Burlington Coat Factory.

It seems to get out orange baby food and poop.

Totally toddler is awesome, the only thing I use on all our clothes! You can only get it at Babie R Us and Walmart(back in the infant section) from what I can find- Walmart hasn't carried it that long and BRU is the only place you could get it for the longest time!

Hi J.! I use several different things at different times depending on stain. The best thing that I have found to use is when I am doing laundry, I spray the clothes with shout stain remover and then once the washer is loaded completely, I put in a cap of Spray N Wash liquid stain remover in the pink bottle. That has worked the BEST for me and that combination together has managed to get out EVERY stain since my baby was born. Only problem that I ever had was when she was first born and being breastfed, I had some problem with her poop on clothes but it just takes some hard determination and scrubbing to get it out. Also, my aunt is like the Laundry Queen and can get anything out of anything so when I have had tough stains, I've called her and followed her advice. It sounds funny but Dawn dishwashing liquid. Put that on your stain, scrub and wash. I has some grease from my husband on the bottom of a bedspread from him sitting on the bed to take off shoes-I put Dawn on there and scrubbed and washed. I had to repeat the steps a couple of times but it got the grease out and has been wonderful on other tough stains.

I have found that Clorox 2 works great on stains. I pour a little straight on the stain and rub it in really good then throw it in the washer and poof your stain is gone. It does not always work on stains that have already been washed and dried. I have a special bin next to the washer that we put all clothes that need to be pretreated in. It really helps to catch those clothes before the get set in from washing and drying.

I love my Pre-Spot from Melaleuca! Their laundry products are TOTALLY the BEST, they got out stains on my clothes from years ago! I'm a die hard fan of all their laundry products, but especially the Pre-Spot. Amazing stuff.

You can find it at Babies R Us and Walmart. We use it here for my grandbabie's clothes.

OxyClean works great. I mix a scoop or two of it in a sink of HOT HOT water and let my stained clothes soak for a day or so. It got out juice from an apple (that dried brown on my daughter's white shirt) when bleach wouldn't even remove it.

OxiClean works great even on those breastfed poopy stains. Follow the directions by putting some with hot water in a bucket or sink and let it soak like 6 hours before washing!

My favorite stain remover is Zout. You can find it at Target or HyVee. It hasn't failed me yet...even after a stain slips through and ends up in the dryer! I can spray and let it sit, rewash and it will still disappear. Sometimes I scrub it a little with those little nylon scrapers from Pampered Chef too(you can use them for tons of things!!)Also, for anything that can be bleached~the Tide Bleach Pen spot bleaches something amazing, and doesn't bleed into the rest of the article of clothing like regular bleach. Good luck:)
