This is an oldie but a goodie... Steak and Ale in Addison always has great food and great service. It isn't too expensive for a nice dinner and you cannot beat the ambiance (or the fantastic salad bar).
Have any ideas for a nice, fun and different restaurant? My husband and I eat out about once a week and go to the normal places. We will be celebrating my b'day Friday night and I want to go somewhere different with a great ambiance. Let me know where you have been and what you like! Thanks!

Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill in Addison is great. It is a really nice restaurant and the fish/seafood is amazing. My CFO took us for a really nice lunch one day, and I had the Chilean Sea Bass. It was awesome. They are on Beltline, pretty much next door to Macaroni Grill.
Austins is a nice place, its in richardson off 75. its a quiet place with wonderful food, great staff, etc. there are no shows or anything of that sort, it is just a really quiet simple elegent place and its priced fairly to. we try to get there at least once a month. If you love prime rib, sat. nights they have a prime rib all you can eat bar. I am not a prime rb eater, but I will woof it down there.lol
La Hacienda Ranch is really nice. In Plano on Preston Rd., and there is another one further north. Go online and see if you can check out their menu before you decide on anyplace. Also, Texas Land and CAttle is good.
The melting pot is great. It is totally different from any place else
Ginbeh in Frisco or Kobe in Little Elm (any mongolian BBQ or Hibachi dinning is fun) Also, Tejas de Brazilin Addison or Turle Creek...excellent.
Happy Birthday!!
Magic Time Machine is a FUN place to have birthday dinners, and the boys would love it, too!! (or maybe when they get a little older)
MTM is in Addison area of Dallas on Beltline Rd.

We went to The Melting Pot for my bday this year and had a great time. The food is excellent (especially the dessert) and it is a fun and different experience.
