Ditto the Gerber. I've also tried just about every sippy on the planet, and the gerber ones are absolutely the best for not spilling. Now, I'm talking about spilling when tipped upside down or dropped. Your daughter may be just spitting it out. My youngest would do this, especially when she wasn't really thirsty anymore. For example, I would give her a cupful and she would ask for more. The second cupful, she would suck some into her mouth, then open her mouth and just let the milk or water (whatever was in the cup) just fall out of her mouth all over her clothes. My twin boys would actually spit it out forcefully. So I think it's just the age. If she's spitting, it's not going to make a difference what cup you use. If it's the cup, try the Gerber. They have them with hard spouts, and softer spouts that I think both work better than any other at keeping the liquid in the cup and off her clothes! Good luck. Oh, and by the way, I don't think she's too young to start a sippy cup. If she likes it, do it. If she fusses and fights it, then wait a bit. The poster who mentioned the regular cup is also a good idea. It's just way more involved and a lot messier for the first little bit. But if you want to, you can have her "cup trained" a lot quicker that way! Good luck.
