I hope you called the nurse at your hospital last night :) This sounds like my back labor when I had my son.
Since 7pm been having back pain. started dull then got to hurting really bad. getting down on my hands and knees is only thing that makes it ease any. my abdomen is kinda crampy but nothing like contractions. mainly in back.. am i having back labor? anyone else have this experiance??? the baby is still moving quite a bit....
My aunt thought back labor too but when i went in and got checked they said i had signs in urine that say i was probably passing kidney stones. i am dilated to 2cm tho and am now 35wks... thanks tho ladies i will know for future reference! =)

I didn't have any back labor, so the only thing I can suggest is to call the nurse hotline for your hospital (You should be able to find the number online and it's free). They'll be able to tell you what they think is going on.
I had back labor with number 1. By the time I realized I was in labor, I was dilated to 8. I felt NOTHING in front. I couldn't lie down or sit down; that was the main sign. Everyone had said "Oh, you'll know when you're in labor", but at 3 weeks early, I wasn't suspecting a thing. Exercised at the Y that morning, tried to go to work, etc. Then went to my OB appointment and they couldn't believe it. I say get checked!
Call the hospital you'll be delivering at and ask to speak to a labor and delivery nurse. I had back labor with my first child, my back hurt a full day (24 hours) without stopping, it suddenly stopped, then it started feeling like a tightening beginning in my back and radiating to my front where my uterus would harden and contract, which went on until delivery, I would feel my back hurt and know the contraction was coming.
Prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby, whenever that is.
Oh goodness...sounds like back labor to me.
So far 2 out of 2 labors for me.
Hope you called too!
