My advice is to not wake her, unless it is interfering with her night sleep also. If this is not the case, I suggest trying to feed her more when she is awaaake
R.,
By 8 months her frequency of eating is declining but she can probably eat more when she does eat. I wouldn't wake her. If she was really hungry, she'd wake up on her own.

Always remember.... don't try to make a happy baby happier.
YES!!! It is SO importand for the parent to be in control and the child to learn to follow the parents guidance and direction. Teaching her to "obey" or follow you now at this young age will springboard into appropriate respect and obedience later. At 8 months old, she can't possibly know what she needs...that's why she has YOU! Her loving mommy.
Hi R.,
Is she already a healthy weight and is it stable since she's changed her sleeping habits? I never woke my now 18 month old to eat or to "change" her sleep schedule. To this day she's a flexible eater and sleeper and is healthy and happy. Every mom will tell you something different. You have to decide what is best for your baby.
Hi R.,
My advice is to let the baby sleep. Having two of my own with completely different styles, it's always best to let them have their rest. She'll wake up if she's hungry.
