does it have to be that fluffy stuff? when our church did a play the sheep wore white sweat pants and white sweatshirts and then had the hoods pulled up with the ears stuck on. depends on how realistic it has to be.
Hi Mamas,
Need ideas for a sheep costume for my 9 year old son. We are not allowed to use cotton balls, so I was thinking of using pillow stuffing? How would you attach it to a tshirt? Sticky tape or hot glue? I am pretty handy, but not the best sewer. Need ideas, please!

Well, if it were me...there is a character called Shaun the Sheep, they sell a costume of him, I would be doing that. :)
We used a white (larger than child's usual size) t-shirt, black sweatpants with white fluff sewn on for tail, black ski hat with white felt ears. Black painted nose and all set!
Ok, on second thought, you may need to replace black ski cap with something much lighter! :)
You could use pillow stuffing and hot glue or maybe fabric glue. My first thought was batting for a quilt, but I think you're right about the pillow stuffing. I wouldn't do tape because I don't think it would stick. But the hot glue should and the fabric glue should, too.
I would use bath puffs through a loose knit vest, with black pants & long sleeves
Hot glue should work, or even tacky glue.
What about that fluffy stuff they put on the inside of casts (like medical casts)? They sell it cheap at home healthcare stores/pharmacies. You can buy an entire roll of it for like $6, make fluffy little balls, and hot glue it.
