Seeking Wholistic Doctor in Lincoln Square Area

Hi D.-I just moved here to IL a short time ago. I do not know where you are relative to the Evanston area. I have a wonderful GP who does both. I just had my fourth child by ways of a midwife (I was running for the at home birth in the watertub but my water broke and I waited for 3 days, I was disappointed, but my daughter is a beautiful vibrant 2 month old). His name is Dr. Ettner and works out of St. Francis. He has an absolutely wonderful bedside manner and supports us in every decision that we have made. His number is ###-###-####. If he is too far, I am sure he knows of someone in your area.

I had some major issues with the PED in the hospital because I refused all of the shots, eye drops, etc..and he called me on my cell phone while I was there to set up and take over care for her.

I would recommend Homefirst Health Services. We've been with them for the past year and LOVE the practice. There are three doctors in the practice-we met with each one at different visits and then decided which one we clicked with the best.

Dr. Rosi is about as natural as you can get. And quite a funny guy at that!

My husband, 8 month old, and I all see the same doctor...it's quite unusual (and great) to have that happen in this day in age.

Tell her Suzanne Stevens reccomended him. They always ask this of new patients. My SIL was sick for 10 weeks and not getting better. She had visited two doctors and had THREE different diagnosis. None correct. After one prescription and two different antibiotics she went to Van Heule. She finally has her life back. He treats the whole person, ill or as a preventative. He was reccommended to her by two friends and her only regret is that she did not know about, or go to him, earlier.

Fred Ettener (sp?) in Evanston. He's a holistic doctor. Tell him your approach and want you want from him. I think he'll support no vaccinations if you are in to that.

Dr. Emily Lindner at Illinois Masonic is a holistic MD. ###-###-####. She's a great doctor that is willing to try alternative medicine and pays a lot of attention to whole health including nutrition, exercise, etc...
