I have a two-year-old that is just learning to talk and sign, and I would like to expand my repertoire of signs. I have learned mostly from a book and would love to find others that I could converse with in sign language (or try to).

Hi K.,
My daughter is 18mo and signs. She just finished a signing class in Coppell called Sign N Sign that was very fun. It was through the Korner Kottage (You might see what their summer offerings are: http://www.homestead.com/thekornerkottage/kottagesummer20.... That was the second class my daughter has been in and she loved it. Our teacher was Andrea and she was really, really good.
There is also a FasTracKids in Coppell, but I don't know what they offer. My daughter attended a FasTracKids in Plano for her first class and it was good, too, but we really enjoyed the class in Coppell.
K.,
Hello. My daughter is 4 and speech delayed and we are signing heavily. I have taught her from books and videos. The best videos are sign-a-lot (new company, so they only have two - my daughter loved their videos! Teaches abc's plus 100 words!), and signing times. You can find them online at www.signalot.com, and signingtime.com. If I find any classes you might be interested in, I will post them. Have a great week and good luck with your signing!
