Seeking Preschool for My 3 Year Old Daughter in Keller, TX Full Time

My daughter goes to Harvest Child Developement Center (HCDC) in Watauga off of 377 and Basswood. She only goes part time MW but they also have a full time program. We have been really happy there and my daughter loves to go to "school" on MW. I believe the full time care is around 165/wk.

my kids go to Keller Music & Dance Fine Arts Preschool, they LOVE it ask me to go even on weekends and i just signed them up to stay in the afternoons as well and they don't want to leave when i come to pick them up (even if they are the last kids!!) they are very affordable and worked with me when i had some problems paying one month due to some credit card fraud because they knew i was good for the money and talked to them about it. They even offer a free Evaluation day so you can try it out your Daughter can stay for a morning with them for FREE to see if it's a good fit!! here is their website i know i spoke to the owner today and they working on redoing the whole website but it gives you the info you need!!

Just saw an ad for a new performing arts pre-school somewhere over in the HEB area. It sounds pretty unique. Kids go to several different classes each day: dance, Spanish, music, etc. If my kids were little again, I would definitely investigate this school.

I also saw that a NRH Montessori school just opened up near Davis facing N.Tarrant Pkwy (behind the Chili's across from Target). Two of my children attended Highland Meadows Montessori just north of 114 on Highland Dr. in Southlake back in '92-'94. I admire the Maria Montessori method of teaching and can highly recommend Highland Meadows. I have no experience with this new Montessori school, but it is closer to you, between Keller and NRH, so you may want to check it out.

St. John's Catholic Church offers an early enrichment child care program for 3 year olds. Once she turns four, she will be able to attend Pre - K there for 5 days a week if you choose. They are located in North Richland Hills so it may be close to your work. My son attends there and I love it! The teachers are great and it is small which I like. My neighbor, Stephanie Cobb has an in-home preschool called Bright Beginnings. I know how good she is with children because she has watched mine many times. I have also had an opportunity to talk with her about her love for children and love of working with them.I would recommend her if you are open to registered in-home childcare.I know she spends a good bit of time planning to provide the best learning environment and lots of love to the kiddos.Her # is ###-###-####

I've heard good things about Merryhill and Primrose, just not entirely sure about the cost. You have to qualify for KISD's preschool on the basis of low income, ESL or military. It's on Keller ISD's website.

This is in Old Town Keller, and the staff is great there. The owner is a certified teachers, and she hires teacher/moms and young teachers to work for her. Very professional and great with all kids.

Come fall, she will be full. I would check it out ASAP if it is in your area.

My son is also 3 and has been at Merryhill Preschool for over a year now. I have zero complaints with that preschool. My son is so happy and well adjusted and I know part of it has to do with the fact that he's happy and comfortable at his school. It is off of Rufe Snow bewtween Lowe's and the fire station. My son only goes part time. I don't know what full time costs but for 3 days it is $147. Right now Fridays is show n tell and splash day. If you have anymore questions, just ask.

My MIL use to work at Dayspring Preschool off of Davis in NRH but I think it's The Sunshine House now. Preschool Enrichment or PSE is on the Keller/Southlake border and is WONDERUL. My niece goes there. My son would have too except they don't except parttimers.

I hope this helps. Finding good childcare is hard. My son was in an in-home setting from 4 mo to 26 mo and it was horrible all around. I think that's way Merryhill has been such a breath of fresh air.

My kids go to Mt. Gilead Enrichment Academy in Keller. They start at 12 months old and are such a loving environment. It is only 2 days a week, Tue. and Thurs. 9-2pm. I highly recommend it though as an alternative to other schools.
