Seeking Playgroup/mom's Group in TCU Area

Check out http://hipmama.meetup.com/163/ It's a great meetup group! I just happened to find it one day on the internet and have been involved with them for over a year now. The members live around Ft Worth, Saginaw, Keller, and other surrounding cities. My daughter and I have met some wonderful people. There are a variety of ages from newborn to around 3-4. Some of the moms are SAHM's while others work and attend events when they can. The organizer schedules a wide of variety of events usually several times a week. (ex. playdates at parks/people's houses, Chuck E Cheese, the zoo, the miniature train ride, Kid space at the Ft Worth Museum of Science and History, and even an occasional Mom's Night OUT!!) You do have to be "approved" to join..that's just for safety purposes. (so not just everyone can view all the profiles and see where we'll be meeting)There is also a $6/year fee to help the organizer off-set the cost of hosting the website. Check it out if it sounds like something you're interested in!

I'd love to be a part of something. I live on the other side of the TCU soccer fields. My son is 4 though I still consider him my baby. Let me know what you find out, or if you want to get together; my weekends are usually free. Thanks, L.

A., SuperMommies is opening in Fort Worth near TCU in May. This is a stroller fitness group for moms with children ages 6wks-5yrs. It should be posted on the website by now, but no later than Wed. I belong to a group called the M.O.M.S. Club in that area and they are looking for new members. If you are interested I will give you the info. They try to do things often and I know a lot of the people in it now are near TCU.
