I live in Garland and work fulltime. My son goes to daycare and I'm trying to find a group to socialize with. He is shy at the and warms up to people after a while but I would like to also make some friends my self. My son is 2 going on 3.
I am not part of a playgroup but, I do have a 3yo daughter if you would like to get together for a playdate sometime. I live in Richardson.
You can try MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers), or a different "moms" group.
You can also search the homeschool network. There are tons of groups out there for little ones whose moms just want to get them together.
I live in North Garland & have a 3 1/2 yr old girl. The mom's group I was in is no longer active or I would invite you to join it. But if you would like to get together with my daughter & I just let us know.
Ditto for www.mops.org. Also try the Garland Area Early Childhood PTA or www.meetups.com. Good Luck!
