Hi fellow moms! I'm new to the Cedar Park area and am in search of a really good pediatrician. I'm looking for one who is very personable with children and makes them feel comfortable. I had a referral, went to them, and didn't care for his bedside manner at ALL. Our previous pediatrician was wonderful and so good with my kids. Does anyone have a pediatrician that they (and their children) love?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, we decided to try out Dr. Cardwell at Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Care. I really like the idea that it was so close AND included adult care as well. We had a wonderful experience! Dr. Cardwell was so nice and easy to talk to, as well as being very friendly and personable with my kids. Another funny "it's a small world" thing is that the doctor (who is the same age as myself) and I both grew up in Topeka, KS..then both lived in Kansas City, MO!!

Anyway...thank you all for your responses, I really appreciate it! :)

Hi A. .
I use Dr Booker at Austin Regional Clinic off of Anderson Mill . Its close to the 620 area . He has been the best I have found so far and hes my 3rd one in 2 years .
I also had a wonderful Pediatrician before moving here and was not willing to settle with less then what I was use too . Dr . Booker is wonderful on the first visit he spent almost an hour just talking to me about the girls and sat in the floor with the kids and played and talked to them to make them feel very relaxed . Both My girls really loved him .
I also used Treehouse before them and was not happy at all . I will say though that all the Dr.s were good it was just an issue of getting in to seem them for our well visits on time . You have to scedule very early on to see them when its actually time for your childs visit . Best of luck finding who are looking for .
Pam

Hi A.,

I live in Round Rock and LOVE my pediatrician! I have 5 friends who all take their children there too. Treehouse Pediatrics ###-###-####) and our doctor is Debi Addy. She is wonderful! They have 2 other doctors and a nurse practioner, they are open on Saturdays until noon for sick little ones. Their staff is wonderful too! I could go on and on about them.

They are located off of 620 on Great Oaks right behind Jack in the Box. They are not be in Cedar Park but trust me, they are worth the short drive!!!!

Welcome to the area!
A.

Dr. Ellis at North Austin Pediatrics is great! We selected her after meeting with several groups of doctors when I was pregnant. They have a Cedar Park office, but I haven't been to it. I have only been to their location by North Austin Medical Center. Here is a link to their website: http://www.naustinpeds.com/
