Hi K.
I use the same ENT as Brittani, Dr. Nowlin. We love him and have been with his office for about 3.5 years. I have twins and they both have tubes and have enjoyed Dr. Nowlin. ###-###-#### is the office number. C.
We just moved from Plano to Round Rock. My daughter's pediatrician had referred us to a pediatric ear, nose, throat doctor there but we had to move before the surgery could be set up. He didn't have any recommendations of doctors in this area since it is so far from Plano. My daughter has had multiple ear infections and they are planning to put tubes in her ears. Has anyone taken their babies to a pediatric ear, nose, throat doctor that they really liked? Also, does anyone suggest a great pediatrician in this area?

Dr. Kriesel is the best! My daughter had tubes put in when she was 11 months old. Austin Regional Clinic is a really good clinic. They also have a pediatric office in Round Rock.
I have not personally seen an ENT for my children, but I can tell you that my mother just started working for one this week. He sees all ages and is in north austin, His name is Dr. Kahn and Dr. Tobey is also in the office. My mom said he is very nice and very thorough. Good Luck!
K.,
Hi! I have the best ENT . We love him my daughter has been going to him from the time she was 11 months old she still sees him today she is five years old his offfice is in austin but he comes to round rock on friday to the arc office (Austin Regional Clinic) His name is Dr. Kriesel his office number is ###-###-#### He is really great with children
K., we use Dr. Houssalla. She is in Georgetown, which is a little north, but she is great. One suggestion our pediatrician made when we were moving down here from Dallas was to call the hospital and ask the nurses. The nurses will tell you who are good pediatricians. (Normally who they mention first are the best ones). We asked a nurse at our church and she recommended Dr. Houssalla and we haven't been disappointed.
Oscar Tamez removed my then 2 yr olds tonsils last year. He is Tejas Ear Nose and Throat right next door to Round Rock Hospital.
i used dr slaughter. he's in north austin behind north austin medical center. he was great with me and he was my friends son's dr.
Hi K.,
We just moved here from McKinney and our pediatrician was in Plano. Who was yours? We saw Dr Minsky.
We have seen a couple of pediatricians since moving here and I really like Dr Jack Louis (located in Austin) the best. I have an 11 month old too, he was being seen by a pediatric gastro doctor in Dallas and she referred us to one in Austin, Dr Zwiener. He was the BEST doctor I have seen in a long time so I asked who he suggested and he told me he took his kids to Dr Louis. Dr Louis is very detailed and through, he has been in practice in Austin for a long time and could probably refer you to a great ENT.
I hope this helps. I know what it is like to be new to an area and need to find a doctor!
The doctor I take my daughter to isn't really in North Austin - it is down by Seton hospital - but I really like him. His name is Dr. Drew Sawyer and he also works with Dr. Connally and a Dr. Nowlin. Dr. Nowlin is the one I was told is so good, but Dr. Sawyer was able to get us in sooner when my dauther was having major ear infections issues. We have been seeing Dr. Sawyer for a little over a year now and I have recommended him to several friends and other moms. He is not the type of doctor to push for unnecessary surgery. I really appreciate that. My daughter has had surgery on her ears three times and I have been very satisfied with Dr. Sawyer.
K.,
I have a great ear, nose and throat doctor. She is kind of far (Westlake) but she is really good. Dr. Melba Lewis has been our son's ENT doctor for a few years now. She does all her pediatrics surgeries at the Children's Hospital which I strongly recommend since they specialize with children.
So, if you don't want to drive that far for the doctor's visits I still strongly recommend the hospital they now how to handle babies and the first time we went to have tubes my son was 9 months old and another hospital wanted to have a 9:30 surgery! That means no food until after that, try telling a baby it can't eat till 11 am, yeah right. We walked out, and didn't go back to that doctor again and found Dr. Lewis instead.
Well, I hope that helps, I know it's not quite what you asked for, but I promise she is very good.
