My husband I would love to have a playgroup with other parents in their thirties! We both work, and so we would love to have a group that meets on weekends. We have an adorable 17 month old daughter who loves being around other kids. However, all of our friends are currently in the baby-making stage...not the ready to play stage! My personal hope is that we would eventually create a babysitting co-op in our area. We live in the Tarzana area.
I have a 13 months baby girl. she likes other kids too much. we live in Simi Valley.
It's a support group for moms, mostly stay at home but all are welcome. Most events take place during the day but they do have some family events on weekends. It could be a good way to meet other moms and hopefully find some interested in weekend play dates.

I have been pining for a play date with other 30 something parents as well. My daughter is only 4 months old, but if you were to ask her she would tell you that she is 12 months old. She tries to walk and loves manipulating objects.
Your bundle of joy is older, so they couldn't quite play together just yet I would imagine, but perhaps if we get more moms to bridge the gap we could all have ourselves some fun.
Keep me updated if a group comes together. We can always have a mom playdate as well. :)
