Seeking Moms That Are Interested in Seperating the MMR Vaccine

I unfortunately cannot help you out since my son has already had two doses of the vaccine. However, I wanted to tell you that I've done some extensive research on the MMR shot since my son still has yet to get one more booster MMR. I talked to my son's physical therapist about the issues with the MMR shots as well. In all actuality it's not the MMR shot that causes children to develop metal disorders such as Autism. It's the preservative used in the shots that causes it. The preservative was taken out of the shots around 2000 but since a lot of doctors bought the shots in bulk some are still using the shots with the preservative in it. Anytime your child gets shots you'll want to ask your doctor if it contains the preservative in it. Hope this information helps you!

Can I ask you who is your pediatrician? I have a 3.5 yr old who hasn't got that vaccine for the same reason. My pediatrician didn't give me the option of separated vaccines. So I am interested. Can you give me more information?.

My son is 18mo and I just spoke with his Pediatrician about this Tue. We are desperately looking for a Pediatrician that will give the shots separate because ours will not since they believe nothing is wrong with the combined MMR.

That sounds like a great idea, as I haven't vaccinized my daughter because of severe allergies. I'm going to work with an allergy doctor who is probably going to put her on a modified schedule. However, sometimes I wonder if separating them may be a good idea because I had read that the individual vaccines do not come without the mercury? Of course I may be wrong, since the last time I read about this was about a year ago, and perhaps there have been some changes since then. Do you know if they are now thimersol free?
