I'm looking for a group that meets w/their children weekly or a few times a week. My little one is 10 months and I'd like for her to be around other children her age - or close to her age. Is there anything out there, or would anyone like to start meeting? Please contact me if so.

There is a group called Moms Together that meets at Bethany Lutheran Church on Madison Avenue off of South Park Road - two to four times a month I think. The Bethel Park library also has story time for babies and an exercise class for moms and babies. You can get more info at this link http://bpchildrensdept.googlepages.com/

I live in south park and what I found good when my little one was that small is looking into story time at your library. South Park offers alot of different age groups....I've met alot of people doing that.

I belong to a group from meetup.com called Modern Moms Pittsburgh. It is a wonderful group and we have daily playgroups in many areas of town.
You may want to combine a few different things- there is a little super kids at the library on Mondays at 10AM- its a dance kind of thing, no registration required, just walk in, free! The library also has a story time for little ones- check the library activity calendar which may be accessed through bethelpark.net- also free. I think there is a Mommy and Me at John McMillan Presbyterian. My church, St Davids in Peters just started a Mommy group on Wednesdays, child care available for $5/hr. They also have a Mom's Morning Out on Mon/Wed/Fri available 9-1 (you can drop off and pick up any time during that time frame) for $5/hr- more info at experiencestdavids.net. Good Luck
