Can anyone recommend a good Mommy & Me program for me and my 8 month old daughter?
Thanks so much for the helpful responses! I went to the "Nurturing Your Newborn" program at Spanish River Church which seems like a great group of moms & babies! I am also planning to try out a couple of other programs over teh next few months. Thanks again for the great suggestions :)

This is J.,I run Nurturing Your Newborn. It is a moms and babies group which has expanded for 8-12 mos on Thurs 10am-11:30. Hope you can make it. also our church Bible town on 4th Ane has lots of things for young children and babies, you do not have to be a member my next door neighbor is a teacher there have fun

There are a few activities you might find with the city...go to the city of boca's web page and look for events and activities - this weekend there are quite a few things for easter - wednesdays there is story time at the Spanish River Library and there's a Spring Fling event on Saturday at the children's museum - also, there are gym classes for us moms where we can go with our kids, and quite a few other classes you might be interested in....check them out!

Little gym is great! Its on LInton and Military. Also Kindermuzic is great. They offer that at a lot of different locations.
I find that Gymboree is so much fun for my 10 month old. We started going at 8 months and you get to socialize with other moms of children your age and the kids get to explore and have fun at the same time. Also, Spanish River church has a program thats free called Nurturing your newborn and it goes up until a year old. It's Wednesday's or Thursday's from 10:30-12. You don't need to attend the church or be members, it's open to the public. You can google their website to get the number for more information.
I had a wonderful time at Nurturing Your Newborn classes. They were held each week @ Spanish River Church in Boca Raton. They were wonderful! They had groups on Wed. mornings. I could only continue until my daughter was 6 months as I returned to work. They have groups with older children too! It really was a wonderful experience. I am starting a new Mommy and Me Music class at the Boca Play Station, on Mondays starting October 4th, 2010. Please spread the word.
Classes are limited to 10 children and will be at 9:30am and 10:30am.
