I currently live in Northridge, but I have considered moving or living part time in Big Bear. I am new to this page so I do not know how to specifically ask for moms in that particular Zip code/area so I thought I would at least give this a shot in my own zip. I am wondering if there is anyone who knows about the schools there or if they have heard anything about the schools there. My daughter is above average and I actually just enrolled her this year at a Montessori school in the area. I already searched for a montessori school in BBL but to no avail. I am just curious if the schools there are average, above average etc. I was told by a realtor that the schools were superb but then she was a "realtor"!! so just want some real advice. Thanks ahead of time to any advice/info.

If you have a chance to go back to Big Bear, just go to the town and talk to local families. Try the supermarket and other places where locals are more likely to be. In Idyllwild where we live part time there are good schools and many, many families do a home school co-op they have created for themselves.
