Seeking GREAT Preschool in Denver Area That Accepts 2 Year Olds

My daughter is 25 months and I think she would really benefit from being able to do arts/crafts and move from area to area like they do at a preschool. However, she is NOT potty-trained. Do any of you fabulous moms know of a preschool accepting un-potty-trained 2 year olds?

What can I do next?

J.,

You have to check out The Martin School! It is owned by former elementary and high school teachers who saw a need in their students for a stronger preschool foundation. They do centers and individual tutoring every day, starting at 2 years old. My son has thrived there - we love it (and he's not potty-trained, either). Nicole might even be open to a trade if you would like to bring Kindermusik to the school. Here's the link: http://www.themartinschool.com

Good luck!

Hi Amy--We were lucky enough last year to find a wonderful preschool in Centennial. It's called Circle of Friends Christian Preschool. It's a great school taught by sweet, warm and loving motherly types--but very well-educated ones! It's a very gentle school but a lot of fun, too. They have many classes and times to choose from, they have open enrollment and I don't think they have waiting lists right now. Your child doesn't have to be potty trained like at so many other schools. They have other things you can do like 'parent's day out', and you can extend your child's preschool day with the 'lunch bunch'. You can find out more from their website: www.circleoffriendschristian.com.

Hi J.,
I would reccomend Primrose- they have several locations.Go to www.primroseschools.com for information. My daughter started there when she was 2 1/2 ( about a year ago) and she was also not potty trained. They're a great academically based program with spanish and sign language enrichment. my dauhter know more Spanish then I do! And the teachers are very warm and loving and extremely qualified. Hope this helps!

Temple Emanuel Pre-school in Hilltop takes 2 year olds who aren't potty trained. All 3 of my kids went (go) there and loved it! The teachers are awesome and the other families are really nice. They also have very flexible schedules. They are a Jewish pre-school, so there is an emphasis on Jewish holidays and culture. We're not Jewish, but I really like having my kids learn about other religions and cultures, so it's been great. Coming out of there, my two older kids were more than ready for kindergarten and my 3 year old is already writing her name and learning her letters. They do lots and lots of projects (be prepared to have stacks of drawings and paintings and dioramas and, well, you get the idea, coming home from school). I'm not sure if there's a waiting list or not, but you could call them at ###-###-#### for more info.
