Flower Mound is only 20 min. away. You could try Dr. Golab ###-###-####). I've had good experiences with them and have been going there for 3-4 years now.
Good luck
We just moved here and have a DMO insurance plan through my husband's employer. Unfortunately their are not a lot of dentists taking this insurance anymore so the only dentist in town taking this is Monarch Dental. My husband and I had bad experiences with them in the Golden Triangle Mall location and WON'T go back - very lazy, rude, and kept making mistakes with our appointment times. Anyone been to the Monarch Dental in Corinth or Lewisville? I have seen their commercials on TV and they look like a reputable place but the Denton location was dirty and kinda sketcy. I have some cavities that need filled and my husband has other dental work that we need to get done sooner than later. Thanks!!

I would NOT recommend the Lewisville location, it is crowded, long waits, no real answers. I thought Denton was much better. My husband has had a decent experience with the one in McKinney.
I have been going to Dr Golab in Flower Mound. I drive a long way to see him. I have had a lot of dental work. It is excellent. I have never had a problem. Nothing ever has had to be done over again. They always are happy to see me, and really know their stuff. His website is www.drgolab.net
Alan Gross on Swisher in Corinth is fantastic!
Yes we had a bad experiences with them too. We use Stone Creek Dental 2430 S I-35 Suite 178 Denton 76205 ph####-###-####. They are really good at least for us .Hope this helps.D.
Do not go to Monarch. Had too many bad experiences to even post here. Unprofessional and unkind. Had fillings and pain remained for several months. Went back next appt to seek help but was told that I had to wait till I need a root canal next time. Changed my insurance since then, and will never go to another Monarch dentist. Their advertising on TV is deceiving too. There are not many good honest dentists nowadays but hope you find yours.
Corinth was slightly better than Denton. Cleaner and the Dr was nice, but they are all the same. They are in it to make money, not make return patients. Any place other than Monarch is suggested.
I've never been to Monarch, but if you're looking for a good dental office I go to Dr. Morris on Locust and he is wonderful. Good Christian, and his staff/hygeinists are wonderful as well.
We use Dr. Scott Lipscomb in Denton. He isn't a provider for any insurance company but excepts what they would pay. He has state of the art equipment and is very gentle. He even has a tool that he uses - if the cavity isn't too deep he can use the tool instead of a drill & shots.
He's on Hwy 288 just west of 35-

Hi M.! I would not recommend any monarch dental! They are all the same. My suggestion would be to try and change your DMO plan to a PPO. It would be worth the extra money because you can go to any dentist you want. Hope this helps.

I feel your pain. My husbands insurance also only pays in full for Monarch dental. Do you know if his insurance will pay some of the expense at other dentists? The last time I went to the Monarch in Lewisville, one of the receptionists let out a squeal because apparently a mouse had run across the floor! They were also trying to schedule unnecessary treatments telling me I needed a root canal and a crown. It's been over 6 years now and I still haven't needed a root canal or a crown.
I told my husband that I would not go back there again. Dental health has been proven to improve physical health and is even a preventative. We go to another dentist and his insurance pays for some of it and we are just out-of-pocket on the rest. I figure since we are out so little on medical expenses that we can just go ahead and spend a little more on quality dental care.
I know many dentist take CarePlan which is like a credit card and depending on the amount, the interest if free for the first year. My husband had avoided going to the dentist for 10+ years and so when he went back, he had to have major work done but we were able to use CarePlan.
I had a horrible experience at Monarch Dental in Denton, and unfortunately that is the only place I can go per my insurance. It was the MOST unprofessional place I have ever been in! They were disorganized, rude, unprofessional about everything, and the place was just filthy. I hate to bag on them so much, but it really was bad. Hope this helps you make your decision. :)
We use Monarch Dental in Corinth, Dr. Douglas is great as is their staff. Daughter goes there and had wisdom teeth removed, had a good experience.
M.,
As a whole, Monarch has a terrible reputation. I have been to three and will never go back. Before we were my married my DH went to the one in Lewisville and because we have a DMO said he would go back. I told him no, that I would get on the ins. website and find us another dentist. That's really the best thing you can do. Just look through the list and make sure they aren't affiliated with Monarch. Good luck!
