Hi M.,
There is NO pill to detexify. It's juicing, lots of water, green tea, and you might want to go for colonic. The other thing is daily exercise.
There is no magic in trying to loose weight!!

I had my baby a year ago and never cared about loosing the pregnancy weight. I think I'm ready now. I did weight watchers before, so I know pretty much about what to eat. I would like to start with a clean sheet and thought that a detox was a good idea. I need advise on a pill or something to do a detox

I did a Detoxing diet and lost an obscene amount of weight as well as made my body healthier, my stomach smaller (got filled faster) and my skin looked great. But be not deceived, it's a very hard diet. I can look up more details about it if you are going to try it, but basically it comes down to eating Fruits and Veggies. No Meat, No Sugar (or substitute), No Caffine (ouch!), No Cheese and Nothing processed (Soup Cans, fruit cans, zappable stuff. And certain fruits and veggies are not allowed (i.e. no bannana, grapes, mangoes, strawberries). I don't remember off hand the other restrictions. But I had done this when I was engaged b/c I only had 6 weeks to loose weight and I'm not a pill person & was far too busy to workout (and hate it anyway) so it really worked wonders. My problem area is always my tummy which for certain flattened out. But my friend who did it her trouble was her thighs, arms and so forth and I was SHOCKED when I saw her after she did this. But it takes commitment, creativity and some money. You have to do it at least 6 weeks. it is NOT a starvation diet or counting points/calories. It's as simple and challenging as I stated. Good luck- N.
I also use the 7 day cleanse from Arbonne International and I love it. You can use it once a month if you choose to. I used it 3 times so far and I really liked the results. If you would like more information on the product feel free to email me.

Hi M.,
My name is A. Craig and I am a licensed health care practitioner specializing in therapeutic bodywork and nutritional counseling (see my ad on this site). I think it is great that you want to detox as part of your weight loss plan and would like to recommend a fantastic 7 day cleanse for your liver and colon called the Nutri-Cleanse system from NutraMetrix Nutraceuticals (I am a certified practitioner). This is a very gentle yet effective cleanse and is formulated from herbs and natural substances rather than pharmaceuticals. You can take a look at it at alisonlairdcraig.nutrametrix.com under the Digestive Health category. Please feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### for a complimentary phone consultation.
Sincerely,

I don't know much about it - but someone suggested going to Dr. ____@____.com I am considering this too b/c of environmental toxins. He seems pretty up on his game and there are a lot of things out there that are completely a waste of money. Good luck
Hi M.,
I'm a nutritional consultant and have researched and tried out many different diets and detox programs. If you'd like a free nutritional consult with me, watch the video on my website and fill out the form completely at the end.
Proper detox should always accompany weight loss since so many toxins are stored in the fat so the organs need to be healthy to deal with it no matter what kind of diet you choose.

M.,
You might want to check out Arbonne's Figure 8 and Nutrition lines. There is a detox tea that I much prefer because it isn't harsh on the body. There is also an Herbal Colon Cleanse if you want to take that route. We have an entire website dedicated to supporting our customers lose weight, post recipes to use with our protein and fiber powders which follow the South Beach mentality, and more.
I'd be happy to talk with you about us.

M. - you are actually asking a question that pertains to 2 different issues. Excess weight and toxins are two entirely different problems. More about detox in a moment.
If it's weight you want to get off that is very different from actually detoxing your body. Many people look to detox as a way to get rid of excess weight, and truth be told you will lose a few pounds if you use most detox programs on the market. Most of them do the same thing which is to flush out your system (most flush just the colon) which will naturally leave you lighter since most people have (hold on to your hat) excess pounds of fecal matter packed in their colons. Naturally you will be lighter after flushing all of that out. Yes you clear the colon but you really didn't DETOX your body from the toxins in your organs.
I happen to be an Independent Consultant with Arbonne and what separates us from most companies is that our products are ALL botanically based. We use only the finest ingredients, all being pure, safe and beneficial. We have a weight loss program called Figure8 and I personally have had success in using these products by shedding pounds while on our program. All the Figure8 products are easy to use and you can easily incorporate them into your daily routine.
Secondly, we also have a great Detoxification product line called SeaSource Detox Spa. All products are comprised of derivitives of the Sea and therefore are all safe for daily use. Our skin care products are all easy to use and smell great. It's truly like being at a spa in the comfort of your own home. We do also have, as many have already said, a 7 day Detox formula you can drink to cleanse you from the inside out. The important difference in our cleanse vs others out there is that our product actually detox's your bodies natural detoxing organs, not just your colon. Our product helps your kidney's, your liver etc... the organs which should naturally detox you. The problem is these organs are so often overworked from our daily exposures to toxins. Toxins are in the air we breathe, the foods we eat, everywhere we turn we are hit with them every day.
When you choose what program(s) you would like to try, I hope that you will give Arbonne products a try. I believe we have great products to offer and I believe I have some great knowlege to help you choose the products from our programs that would be best for you.
If you would like a consultation to discuss your options I hope that you will give me a call.
Good luck!

Hi M.,
I'm not sure if you ever heard of this product...it's called Isagenix. There is a website about it if you want to look up more information. It is a nutritional cleanse, NOT a colon cleanse. Basically removes toxins from your body helping you release excess fat and gives your body a nutritional "makeover". I did the program about 4 months after my son was born and then went to WW after a month. The weight loss program is a bit pricey, but you get a 30 day supply of everything you need. If you are interested, I know reps who sell it. Take a look at the website...it's the best detox I've ever done!

Good luck!

P.S. If you are still breastfeeding, I would wait until you are not doing so...I'm sure you know everything passes through breastmilk.
A detox will not help you loose weight it that is your goal. It will clean out your digestive tract. I have a health and wellness business and if you would like some guidence, I'd be more then happy to help you. It does not matter if you use my natural products or not, I'd like you to have the right information.
There is no "detox pill". There are supplements which will cleanse your system over the course of a few weeks, a month long is optimial. Having a clean slate is good, just do it in a safe way.
Please let me know if you would like some help with this.

I use the Arbonne 7 day detox, it works awesome. You really feel "cleaned out". I do it about every other month or so. If you want more details feel free to contact me at my email, I don't really want to post too info...as it is a detox...
I have no idea what a detox pil is but if you are breastfeeding make sure whatever you do is safe for baby. Almost everything passes through to breast milk. A.
I have a great detox system! It is through Arbonne International. It is the 7 Day Body Cleanse. Available at beautyby.myarbonne.com. I highly recommend it for beginning the process.
There is also a DETOX tea that I drink every night.
All the products are vegan and botanically based and work better than any others I have known. Really worth a try!
You can use some natural remedy to lose your extra pounds and belly fat. Mummy magic weight loss tea is organic, herbal and preservative-free product for the purpose.
Hi M.,
As a cancer survivor (5 years on 4/22/08!), I, too, have searched for a program to eliminate toxins from my body. I have found the solution and would like to share the program with you. For a brief introduction, go to www.josie12866.isagenix.com and click on "Cleansed for Life". Scroll down and watch "Are you Toxic". If you are interested in more information, please contact me at ____@____.com. I'd love to help!

Despite marketing schemes, weight loss is not found in a pill or a detox program. Studies show that over 90% of all weight "lost" is found again! It's part of why programs like Weight Watchers are so darn profitable!
I look at de-tox programs like my teenager's messy room. I can get her to clean it all up, but by next week, it's a big mess again. A better plan is to get her to put her wet towel in the shower consistently and start with one piece at a time. Slow and sustainable.
Like my daughter's room, what really works to let go of unwanted weight is lifestyle changes that are small, consistent and sustainable over time.
Start with 10 minutes additional walking each day.
Start with a real breakfast (not some silly boxed cereal containing flaked or puffed grains).
Do that consistently for 21 days and your pants will get looser. Please note that is not about a number on a scale, because muscle weighs twice as much as fat.....throw out your scale and get a tapemeasure instead!
Remember, it took you a good long time to put this unwanted weight on, it will take some time to effectively and permanently take it off!
good luck!
I did the Blessed Herbs colon cleanse last year. It was amazing in that I didn't get hungry on it, and I had renewed energy for weeks and weeks after it. I did it for the health purposes of it, and it was amazing. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.
Not good to take though if you're breastfeeding...
M., the most natural advice I can share is go to the healthfood store and pick up garlic pills and papaya pills.
One pill each after each meal (with some trips to the bathroom in between) and you will see your weight go down steadily and healthy.
