Dr. Ramos at the Las Colinas Medical Center is AWESOME! I just had my first baby 5 months ago and everything went great. The Dr was awesome and the hospital was wonderful. I highly recommend them. Good LUCK!
Hello everybody,
This is my first pregnancy and I am seeking for a good OBGYN in Irving or Dallas area. I will really appreciate all your comments.
Also I would like to know which hospital is the best for maternity in Irving/Dallas.
Thanks.
Thank you for all your replies. I have medicaid and I was considering to see Dr. Sakovich or Dr. Livingston at Mac Arthur OBGYN.
Any opinion about them? Do you know any good doctor who accept Medicaid? thanks.

Dr George Branning.....the best! Baylor Frisco
LeAnn Haddock at Baylor in Dallas is wonderful!!! I can't sing her praises enough! I was a first time mommy like you and so paranoid, but she is always great about calming fears, answering crazy questions and just being there for you! When I delivered my son, she was not on call but came anyways to deliver him. She just cares so much and loves what she does. I gave birth at Baylor Dallas and most people thought that was crazy but I had the best experience ever. The nurses were wonderful, the anesthesiologist was great and the post partum rooms were amazing!
Eugene Hunt at Presbyterian Dallas
Dr. Connie Casad @ Medical City in Dallas is AMAZING!!!!!!! I'd recommend her to anyone, including my own daughter. Good luck!
Hi, I highly recommend Tuscan OBGYN near Las Colinas Medical Center. I do not recommend Macarthur OBGYN, went there during my first pregnancy and not a good experience. Very happy with Dr. Ramos at Tuscan! God bless
Here's a great doc, and a friend of mine. Good Luck.

If Baylor Grapevine isn't too far, Dr Rebecca Robert is excellent.
DR. THEILEN!!! he's the best!! I've been through loads of OB's, I have three children & he's the best!! I have nothing to complain about & his receptionist, Mary, is just the sweetest woman ever!! He serves Baylor Irving & I had my third daughter there. She was a 9lb 11oz VBAC that I could NOT have done without Theilen's help! I was minutes away from giving in & going for a C/S after months of planning for a VBAC & being very adamant (almost annoying!) about not wanting another C/S & he helped me do it with NO complications! We had her at noon & was safely @ home by the very next evening!!
On the otherhand, the WORST doctor in town in Dr. Hanson. He's pushy, rush, conceited & has no respect for your birth plan or your opinions bc 'i've done this alot mire times than you'. He Aldo scoffed at my request to bypass a pelvic exam at every single doctors appt (you get one once a week in your last couple months but pelvic exams by OTHER doctors are usually not given bc of the chance of accidentally inducing labor). He took my second daughter through unecessary 'emergency' C-section that, a nurse later revealed to me, was done because he had 'dinner plans'. My husband was in Norway during my daughters birth & he took this opportunity to treat me like I was stupid & didn't know what was best for myself. He told me, in the same conversation that tool less than 3 minutes to complete, that we would wait an hour to see what babys progress was & then discuss a c/s....& then decided just to do it right then! She was not under any stress, her heart rate was normal & everything was going as planned. My mother was literally leaving the car rental place at the airport (15 minutes from where I was) as she had flown 4 hours from Washington DC to be there for the birth & he had no respect for my wishes of wanting to wait for her to get there. Again, my husband was in Norway so a support system was very important to me. I can't believe the Gaul this man has. He is the worst OBGYN I have ever encountered (& that's saying alot since my 1st daughter was borne on Camp Pendleton while my husband was enlisted!!). He serves Las Colinas Medical Center, which is a good hospital with great staff & awesome food, but they have one of the highest C-section rates in Dallas. There were 7 other babies being borne the day I was there & we were ALL given c/s's for one 'reason' or another.
Good luck in your choice! I hope this information helps you out some!!
