I wrote about my son's headaches a few months back and got such a wonderful amount of responses! I'm hoping I can get some more assistance. My son has been diagnosed with migraines. He had an MRI and all is well with his brain (thank God). I just have a problem with the neurologist telling me that all I can do is treat it when he gets them, watch his triggers, etc.... I am interested in seeing a chiropractor (which several people have brought up to me) but know nothing about them. Does anyone know of a great chiropractor that handles children? I figure that it doesn't hurt to have a consult. Thanks moms!!!

What can I do next?

I think a chiropractor is a good idea. I would like to suggest another. I work with magnetic products, which is the earth's natural energy. I know of a lot of grown ups that the products have helped with migraines. I don't see why it wouldn't work for a child. I also know of many children using the products for other things or just to stay healthy. If you want more information, or even to try something, get in touch with me.
Good luck.

I have a great chiropractor in Livonia, at 6 Mile and Beech Daly. I know that may be a bit of a hike for you but you can check out his website at www.Correctcarechiropractic.com. I also take my 3 year old daughter to him.

What about getting cranial sacral work.. it's supposed to help. I know of the Cranial sacral institute in Shelby Township. I also know of someone that does cranial work in her home near the Warren Tech Center.

Our chiro specializes in children, his name is Don Galovich and he's near Lakeside mall.

PM me if you'd like the info. I don't want to give out the person's name/number via internet that does it at her home.

Hi D.,
Khalil Family Chiropractic. ###-###-#### Please get him in asap. He doesn't have to be in pain ever again.
My family and I have been seeing Dr. Khalil for over 10 years now. The staff is also wonderful, really make you and especially the children feel wonderful and at home. There is an activities room for the children and the fun casual dress code make for a more comfortable experience.
You also want to make sure your child is properly hydrated. My daughter is prone to headaches brought on by dehydration.
Water, water, water We all should have 1/2 our body weight in oz. every day! That's not much for a child.
And remember it doesn't count if it has caffeine or sugar in it because both of those toxins cause dehydration.
Great Luck!
Yours in health,
V.
