We also took baby first aid at Medical City Dallas. They were very thorough, I highly recommend it.
BTW - I have had all my children there and it is a fabulous hospital.

Does anyone know of a hospital or other location that teaches new parent classes of baby first aid? We took the class when our baby was born, but now that he's starting to eat solid foods, we REALLY want to refresh, especially the choking/CPR section. We'll be living in Richardson soon (currently in N. Dallas near the Galleria). Thanks!

Presby Dallas also has classes. We took all of ours there and were very happy with the class and instructors. The hospital is at 75 and Walnut Hill and you can sign up on their website www.phscare.org. Good luck!
I work for a group of Pedi's in Plano and when asked this we tell our patients parents that most all the hospitals do it as well as the health departments and your local chapter of the red cross. Another place is the YMCA! Good luck and kuddos to you for wanting to be prepared!!

Hi,
We took ours at Medical City Dallas and they did a great job! It has been a few years, but I pretty sure they do refresher classes. I would just go to their website and check it out - that hospital is pretty close by.
Good for you for wanting to be prepared!
Presby of Plano is at the Tollway and Parker. Great hospital and great classes.
They have this class available at Trinity Medical hospital in N. Carrollton; at the corner of Josey and Hebron. Call 1-800-945-7997, press 1 for English and then 1 for educational classes. I think the next class is Jan. 16th from 7-10 pm.
