my husband don't want any more help from the government, so we are going to pay for my teeth to get fixed and have a dental plan to help pay for some of it....I have had severe problems with my teeth getting cavities since I became pregnant the first time and I nurse a baby, which could be draining me of nutrients and causing my teeth to literally rot out..Anyhow, now is the time to fix them and does anyone have advice about how to do it cheaper, i don't want to get ripped off or fall for a scam....!!!!

What can I do next?

I'm not sure where you live, but in Lakeland there is an organizatin called "Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine" - "LVIM" - and they provide free / low cost medical care, including DENTAL - all Drs. are VOLUNTEERS - some light criteria for qualifying - employed, not a drug user, legal citizen (I think) and liberal income qualifications.
Good luck!

Coast Dental has their own little discount plan for about 100 a year. You get discounts on dental procedures, etc... I know the metal fillings were pretty cheap. I TOTALLY understand your pain! I am expecting to lose a tooth by the end of the year...

Contact a dental school at your closest university. You will get excellent care, although it may take many appointments and you'll have an audience, but you will get dental care at a much reduced price.
