I also have a rental and Craig's List brings me the most leads. Westside Rentals is also good. Both services are free. There are a lot of other rental websites out there but most of them require a fee.
I had renters in our townhome that have moved and would like to know some websites to find new renters.

Westside rentals, craigslist, and the MLS. You can contact a great agent in your area to list it. The fee is generally 5% of the first years lease (1/2 goes to your agent, 1/2 to the tenant's agent). I'm a real estate broker. Feel free to contact me if you need assistance.

Try jens list, Craigslist and the MLS listings. Also, your city may have a site where you can post. I'm looking for a place in SCV/SFV/Glendale and have found decent listings at these sites.
You did not say what town you are writing from. I own and manage apartments in the San Fernando Valley and all I need do is have one ad in the Recycler and the first day the ad comes out I have a steady stream of people and it is generally rented by the end of the day.
About 10 years ago I used to run a weekend ad in the Times and that was a pretty good source, too, except it cost more to run that ad.
Be careful you do a good credit check and screening. There are many con games going on these days so ere on the side of caution.
I'm looking for a place in Valencia, and I have found that sites like Craigslist have pretty good responses. Also, not sure where you townhome is, but the city of SC has a site where you can post things like jobs and apartments.
Good Luck!
I don't know how big your place is or how much you are looking to get but I just wanted to suggest asking your local church or temple. With the economy so awful these days there are many good families looking to downsize.
I found that craigslist.com worked pretty well. The best part is it is FREE.
D., where is the Townhome located? Our lease is up in May and we are looking into other options.
