I just moved to Elmhurst from Texas. I am looking for a good part-time daycare for my 17 month old little boy. Does anyone have any that they can recommend?
Thanks

While I can't recommend anyone specific, I can give you the website for the National Association for the Education of Young Children - www.naeyc.org. Only about 10% of centers nationwide receive accreditation from this governing body. You can type in your city or zip code, and the website will populate a list of centers near your home or work. Best wishes and welcome to Illinois.

I'm in Lombard. I am not sure waht you mean by part time. As I told another mom on this list- avoid Little Spouts in Elmhurst.

I do not know how far out of your way she would be but my shild care provider has openings. Her name is Shantel. She is WONDERFUL. and very reasonably priced. She actualy has a bunch of reviews under the local buesness reviews right here on Mamasource. Check her out. In all honistly even if she is a little bit out of your way she is well worth it. Good luck!

Any interest in splitting a nanny? I have a 2 1/2 year old and just found out today my nanny is moving to NY! I work 2 days/week so could split nanny with someone. Let me know your thoughts.
