Hello, my husband and I just bought a house in S.Grand Praire right by Joe Pool Lake. We will be heading down there in early January. We have a 2yr old daughter and hope to add to our family soon so we are looking for a pediatrician in the area (grand praire, south arlington, mansfield). Her current pediatrician is a D.O. which I like for their more natural approach to things and are not so quick to fix everything with a prescription. Thanks!

I live on the peninsula at joe pool--we use Kenneth Carlson in South Arlington (off of Matlock). You can google him to find his info (don't have it with me). He is good b/c he is not quick to write out a prescription and send us on our way--and when we have had to have prescriptions for our now 12 month old they have been as low dose as possible & he makes sure to give something different than before so she doesn't develop immunity to the antibiotic. Dr. Sharon Dennis with ARlington Family Practice is who we use for our kids (1 and 5). She is a DO and a family practice doctor so you could all use her. She is great! Welcome to the area too!
