My husband and I are wanting to move back toward the midwest so we will need a really good realtor in the Lewisville area. We want someone that will come to our house and tell us what they think we need to do to increase the value or make it a better home that people will really want. We aren't looking to move right away we are thinking more around spring time. If anyone knows a great realtor and one that will come to our home and tell us these things would be great. Also does anyone know what the % is they usually charge here?

I would go to www.DaveRamsey.com & click on his "ELP Realtors" area. You can fill out an info request for a realtor in your area. All of his ELP's (endorsed local providers) are suppose to be big time go getters!
And 6% is the typical , I think.

Bruce Ogletree is a family friend and I can't imagine there is another realtor who would be more dedicated to getting your home sold. I know he services the Flower Mound area, but I'm not sure about Lewisville. Please call him and ask if he does. If he doesn't, he may have the inside track on who's the best in the Lewisville area. Hopefully you'll luck out and he'll service Lewisville as well.
In regards to what you're looking for in a realtor, I think he would fit the bill very well. He's told us stories about giving clients tips on improvements that have turned a house on the market for months into a sale in just a very short time.

I live in Flower Mound and the person I have heard the best things about and that I've seen sell houses the fastest is Russell Rhodes. If I ever were to need an agent, there would be no question that is who I hire. I've heard he is the best in the area. Good luck!
