Seeking a Good, Less Expensive Double Breast Pump

I just had another girl on the 4th of July. I had to be induced at 34 weeks because I was very sick and the problem was only getting worse. She spent some time in the NICU and I was able to use a hospital pump while I was there and have borrowed a pump through WIC. The problem is that now the baby is home and I do not have enough breast milk to fully sustain her let alone the fact that she is still learning breast feeding. I need to be able to get the Neo Sure formula which WIC can provide but in order to continue use of the pump I need to be listed as fully breast feeding. We have a little bit of formula that the hospital gave us so we have a few days to figure out what to do. Unfortunately due to the cost of formula and my still low supply of breast milk the formula will have to take precedence for WIC. We have very limited funds at the moment due to my husband loosing his job but I think I need to invest in a double breast pump if I can find one for a decent price that works well. Does anyone have any recommendations of ones that don't cost much but still do a pretty good job?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Thank you Allison for the pump. You are truly Heaven sent. The pump is working wonderfully. I just cut the end attachment off the tubes that I had from the other kit and they fit perfectly. I was able to pump just as much if not more than I can with the pump from WIC. I am forever grateful to you for your kindness, thank you.

I got a great barely used Medela Pump in Style double pump off of Craigslist for 75.00. I just had to buy the tubing and other parts and that cost about 40.00. The pump if bought new is around 270.00.

If you really plan on using your pump a lot, you might consider renting a hospital grade pump for about $20/month from Baby, Mother & More on Southern and Gilbert in Mesa at least for the first few months. Otherwise, Medela Pump-in-Style is the way to go. Best wishes on breastfeeding--it's worth all the work that you put into it. Congrats on your newborn! R.

E.,

I have a Medela Pump-in-Style that you can have if you want it. It works great, and all you'd have to do is buy the tubing, breast covers and bottles. You can get all of that stuff at any breastfeeding store. Contact me, and we'll see what we can do.

I got the cheap double breast pump at Target for about $60. It was the least expensive I could find but it still worked great for me. I think it was "First Years" brand. It does not have very good reviews online but I had both the single and the double pump in this brand and they both worked great.
