I have gone to Dr. Winston Eaddy for many years. He's in Lakeway. His staff is excellent and have been with him as long as I've gone to him.

Dr. Michael Bell is very good. He was recently named one of the best dentist in America (not just Austin). His hygienists do a thorough job at diagnosing your teeth and a thorough job in cleaning them.

I have lived in Austin since 1970 and have seen several dentists. Dr Cole is by far the best in several ways. I have been very pleased and feel comfortable sending others to him. I like that he takes the time to interview you and make sure what it is you need before he starts. He explained and educated me on what the work was to be done. He let me be a part of the decision as to how and when the work would be done. He really listened when we talked. He is young with a wife and two children. I was impressed also with his staff who are dedicated and friendly and remember you. I have had a root canal and I had all my fillings replaced with Dr Cole. I highly recommend him and his staff. They are fair, not pushy and very conscientious of your best health options.

My husband has a friend from college that's a great dentist. His office is very nice with snacks and fresh coffee. His chairs have a great hill country view and the equipment is very modern. We like him as a person and a dentist...

Great office staff, great dentist.

Not sure if taking new patients but definitely worth looking up: Dr. David Carr and Dr. Brian Smith. Super nice...I think he does give discounts if you recommend a new patient but as you don't know who I am that won't matter. Everyone loves their dentists, but I can't tell you how professional, kind and positive the folks in this office are to be around. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Carr for nearly 20 years and we've gradually been adding children, so far no negative experiences, except maybe a rough substitute hygenist (1 time) who wasn't asked back and they apologized for. I'm pretty sure my mother-in-law has gone to him for a root canal (they started using him 8 years ago when they moved here) Good Luck!

We go to Dr. Edwin Webb on Wells Branch Parkway. His office is nothing fancy, but clean, he is reasonable, and EXTREMELY kind. He has a great sense of humor and everyone in the office is fantastic.....we have been patients for 20 years....

Not sure where in town you are -- but my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Trey Kaliher for about a year now (when we moved to Austin). He's very central - close to Seton on 38th. I really like his office because it's small and all the staff seem to really care about you. They helped me get some insurance stuff refiled, etc without a second thought! As a person and a dentist, we've really liked Dr. Kaliher. He takes the time to really talk to you and LOOK at your teeth, etc.

My daughter goes to Dr. Steven (or Stephen) Sherwood. I recommend him so highly that I wish I could go to him! Not only is my daughter not scared, she actually got EXCITED when I told her she has a checkup this month. She asks if we can go when we pass the office occasionally. This is SO not a paid advertisement--I was referred by another mommy in our ballet class--at least four ballerinas go to him, and other mommies and kids, too. He's AMAZING. My daughter even got a filling and was thrilled about it. His office is on Mopac around 2222. Even if it's a bit of a drive for you, it is TOTALLY worth it.

OMG, please go see Dr. Charles Snow. We love him. My teenagers actually like to go to the dentist and always have since they have been seeing him. We never wait long and he is gentle. Andrea, his assistant is equally as wonderful!

When I was a kid I hated going to the dentist. It is refreshing seeing your kids anxious about going and now I don't mind it either!

My family has always gone to Doctor Greg Edson since we moved to Austin. He has a very small practice in north/central Austin, off Mopac & 2222. He's really sweet and great with adults and the kids (ours are 5, 3 & 1). His staff has all been there forever, so it is a bit like visiting extended family. I'm from a small town and value small town service and honesty, and Dr. Edson really fits this bill. LOVE him!
