I have heard a lot of rave reviews about Dr. Lisa Genecov. I don't have her number but she is located at Medical City Dallas. Be prepared, it could take a few months to get in to see her.
Can anyone suggest a good developmental pediatrician in dallas for my 4 yr old son?He is speech delayed and is getting therapy for it, but we want to make sure that he is not developmentally delayed. Sometimes he understands everything we say but some time he ignores us and acts like he did nt undertand. He does behave like a 4 yr old at home except for lack of expressive speech but we want to double check!

Ask your ped or their office, he or she should know. My understanding from talking to the directors at the Callier Center (another great resource for children with speech issues) is that there is only 1 -- maybe 2 -- of them in the DFW area. Good luck!
There is only one in the Dallas area that I know of. They're offices are near the high 5 area - 75 Central and 635 LBJ. I never really saw a doctor, only nurse practitioners. Who, BTW, were very good at their job and very caring.

Be prepared - the wait to get in is like trying to get in to see a new gynocologist - like 4-6 weeks. Since they seem to be the only show in town, you pretty much have to deal with it. The reception staff/appointment secretaries are not very friendly, but it has been 3 years since I was there. The nursing staff is wonderful and will talk with you as long as you need to, answer all your questions and will return phone calls!
HTH - feel free to personal message me if you need more info.
