Seasonal Allergies & Other Problems in a 13 Month Old?

My daughter is 13 months old, we've decided that she probably has an allergy or at least sensitivity to wheat products (gluten) because she seems to get patches of eczema and digestive disturbances whenever she has anything with gluten/wheat in it (her father has the same sensitivity). We have avoided giving her anything with wheat or gluten for the last few weeks but it seems like every few days she has pretty bad breath (I didn't think babies got bad breath). We brush her teeth twice a day so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if you know if it could be something else going on with her digestion. She often refuses to drink plain water and then will have one day when she drinks a lot. She gets constipated or at least has some relatively hard poops a lot of the time as a result. Also, the last few days she's had a gnarly cough and is congested. I feel like I've been experiencing seasonal allergies myself and am wondering if it might be the same thing for her, even at such a young age. I also would like to know if anyone knows if any/all of these symptoms may be tied together.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone who can help.

L.

Hi L.,
I am not sure if I can help or not, but I have been introduced to two products that you may find helpful with your daughter and husband.
I was recently introduced to Isxperia an all natural nutritional company.
They have an product called OPC+ which has greatly helped with our allergy problems and many others. And quite a few friends of mine are using their Aloe Red for digestion to help poo themselves but also for their children. Most people are reporting a regular "poo" the first day and thereafter.

I am not sure if this is helpful for you or not, but people seem to be really enjoying the products and having it help with allergies, poo and many other things. FYI, all of their products are all natural and food grade.

They sell in stores and through doctors but you can also go to www.isxperia.com/S. to learn about OPC+ and Aloe.

Good luck!

L.,
I am sooo glad I caught your post on the way out the door. I pray you are in AZ. My baby girl had 56 food allergies! SEVERE, hospitalized for 30 days her GI Drs thinking her intestines were rotting kind of severe). I had 57 that I've lived with 33 yrs. We were able to get DESENSITIZED to them at out Naturopathic Drs office through the NEAT program. (NOT the NAET you see on the internet, thats ONE appt for EACH allergy))
Attia was "cured" overnight & I took 2 appts.
here is a link that explains it although we go to a different Dr who specializes in pediatrics also. We LOVE her ;) Dr Orona ###-###-#### (office in Phx & Tempe)

My baby was "cured" of her wheat, dairy, soy, corn etc etc etc allergies overnight. Sounds crazy I know but I have sent over 20 people so far!!
I know you will get lots of answers but I truly hope you look into this. It has changed our life so dramatically. I feel like a whole new person & my daughter wont suffer & have to eliminate items her entire life!
Oh & they take some insurances. Even w/o its not very pricey for the lifelong benefits.
You can just get desensitized to food allergies if you want at ONE appt or a seperate appt for indoor/outdoor inhalants or a 3rd appt for chemicals & then they do a 4th appt for a "clean up" if you do all 3 appts.
My sister lived on allergy meds daily her whole life & at 30yrs old finally took my advice, lol & went a month ago & did the inhalant appt. She has been med free for 45 days so far w/ no allergies! We are over the 1 yr mark since treated & completely fine.
call me anytime with questions,
S.

In addition to gluten, you should take her off of all dairy. The villi in the intestine that process wheat are the same ones that process dairy. Those villi are damaged so they are unable to correctly process dairy products. Continuing to allow them to remain in the diet can exacerbate the problem. You might also check with your doc to make sure she's not allergic to anything else. Also, dairy and certain sugars are notorious for contributing to allergies.

I'm allergic to a ton of stuff so if you want more info just let me know.
