I need help. I have a position with a school and I need to come up with a school theme. it is a theme the whole school will use for the entire year. the book fair, fundraisers etc will all use it. the problem is i am very creatively challenged.
The last 2 years the themes were 1. Oh the place you will go by dr seuss and all activities were seuss related and 2. Beelieve in yourself and all activities had a bee theme.
Does anyone have any cute ideas? We need a cute saying and a cute logo (like the bee) to go with it.
this is for elementary school., mascot is eagle.

Off the top of my head...
What about "groovy"...it can be used in many ways, multi-colored/tie-dyed...peace signs.
Does your school have a mascot? Can you play off the schools name? Or colors?
You could be patriotic Read, Write, and Blue
Or go with a pop song like "Roar" and do a jungle theme.
A space theme (shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars)

These could be sayings the children start their day with and with movements to go with it. and you could do all sorts of things with it.
Every Monday morning I tell the children to get their wagons ready and their lasso swinging -- look up and find their star and lasso their star. They love it.
Another idea: Wonder. "Wonder is the beginning of Wisdom" Socrates
This idea may be harder to implement. But then again you can wonder about anything so it may be very open to interpretation.

You could also tie in the school mascot of the eagle in "Soar with the Eagles"....
Why not poll the kids at the school for ideas? This will not only help you creatively, but it will get them all involved and excited.
