My daughter is 3. We don't yet own a home, but are looking to buy before she starts school. I would really appreciate any commentary or advise any of you would offer about the quality of metro area school districts. I'm most interested in the Moore, Choctaw, and Putnam City. Mustang, maybe. I live and attended the schools in Mustang. I will not put my son in any other school. We had a house just built at 29th and Morgan Rd. Fountain Grass addition. I would recomend this addition to you if you are looking for a new house. Also Mustang Schools are going to full day kindergarden.

I think you have to look at the individual schools. I know DD Kirkland is a great school. It is in Putnam City. They call it the private school of the public system.

Bethany has a great public school. it's very small and has a great reputation. I live in Bethany. Our house is small and we would like to have more bedrooms. We are either going to move within our neighborhood or eventually add on, because we want our children going to Bethany schools.

Go to the Oklahoma State Department of Education website. You can access test scores by district and then to help with choosing a school, you can look at test scores by individual schools within that district. After which, you should make an appointment with the building administrator and have him/her go over those results with you and check out discipline reports while there. Good Luck!!!
I know you didn't list it, but Norman has a great school system. Of the three that you listed, Moore has the highest test scores and all of their schools are pretty state of the art. My daughter went to Moore last year, but now she is in Norman and they are great too.
as far as Mustang I hear they are pretty good but do not waste your time with Yukon just 5 miles north you will not be happy.... sorry just wanna save you the hassle
