Saving/Bronzing Baby Shoes

I want to save my son's first walking shoes. They are actually soft sandals that he wore last summer. Do you have any recommendations on how to save them? Is it a good idea to get them bronzed? It is kind of expensive, so would it be worth it? Do you know any good companies for getting them bronzed?
All suggestions are welcome!

My mom did this to ours as well, and she hung them up with a pretty ribbon and our birthstone. I always loved it.

You can have the bronzing done through Monona Bootery and Family Shoes on Monona Drive. BTW, it's also a really great place to get kid's shoes.

We had our kids shoes bronzed from Exposures. You buy the certificate from them and they send you the envelope to send them in. They turned out great. What a treasure!
