Anyone know of a nice nail salon in the Western suburbs that can be rented out for a party..everyone can get mani/pedi and can get food/drink catered in. I know of a ton in the city, but just moved to the suburbs and am unfamiliar with the area. Thanks!

There is a place in Glen Ellyn that is called Cosmos Beauty Bar. It is a martini bar and nail salon and I believe food options are available. My girlfriend owns it and they book up pretty fast so if you're interested, be sure to make reservations in advance.

the two girls that run it, lanie and maria are easy going and accommodating . . . i bet they could easily work something out for you . . . if they havent done one . . . it is probably cause no one has asked . . . :)
i know they have participated at some all nighters at some of the highschools (something the highschool puts on) to do nails for the kids who participate . . . and i am pretty sure they have done birthday parties for younger ones . . . . you will have to check hours . . . not sure when they are open (but they will accommodate your schedule as well i am sure) . . . but i believe sundays/mondays they are closed . . . call and leave a message if they are not, and they will get back to you . . . just let them know that A. c. referred you . . . (my sister actually started the nail forum way back when, but passed it on to them when she had her twins)
